Comfortable and increasingly warm through April and May, good for walking the medina and the Carthage ruins before summer heat sets in.
Summer
Hot and humid near the coast, with Tunis's beaches genuinely busy — a season better suited to the coast itself than long days sightseeing the medina.
Autumn
Warm and settling from September, with October a strong month for combining city sightseeing with beach time.
Winter
Mild and wetter rather than cold, with the medina and Carthage comfortable for walking, though some coastal resort towns scale back for the season.

Getting around
