Getting around

Brussels Airport (Zaventem) has a direct train to Brussels-Central, broadly a 15–20 minute journey. Budget carriers often fly instead into Brussels South Charleroi Airport, a separate airport well outside the city with its own, longer shuttle bus transfer — worth checking which airport a fare actually uses before booking. Inside Brussels, the compact centre is walkable, with trams and the metro covering the rest.
