1. What Capycation is
Capycation is a free, informational travel-planning service: it helps you discover destinations and compare travel ideas. It is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute professional, legal or financial advice. Capycation is part of the Avenmark Media portfolio, which owns and publishes this site.
2. Prices and travel data are indicative
Prices, fares, durations, transfer counts and similar figures shown on Capycation are indicative cached data, not bookable quotes. They come from data partners and our own caches, they age from the moment we store them, and the live price on the supplier's site can differ by the time you get there. Nothing on Capycation is an offer to sell you a flight, a stay, a ticket or anything else; the figures exist to help you compare and shortlist, and the supplier's checkout is the only place a real price exists.
3. All bookings happen with the supplier
Capycation does not sell, book or ticket anything. When you follow a link out to a supplier (an airline, booking platform, hotel, ticketing or activity provider), any purchase you make is a contract between you and that supplier, under that supplier's own terms. Payment, confirmation, changes, cancellation, refunds and customer service for a booking are all handled by the supplier, not by us.
4. We are an affiliate intermediary, not an organiser
Capycation is an affiliate intermediary: we may receive a commission when you book through a link, as set out in our affiliate disclosure. We are never the organiser or the retailer of package travel. If you book a flight through one link and accommodation through another, you conclude separate contracts with separate suppliers - Capycation does not combine them into a package, does not assemble trader-arranged packages, and does not act as a party to any of those contracts.
5. Accuracy of information
We work to keep destination information, climate figures and cost indications accurate and sourced, but this information can change without notice and we cannot guarantee it is complete, current or error-free. Always confirm critical details - entry requirements, schedules, prices, opening hours - directly with the supplier or official source before you rely on them. Corrections are welcome at partners@avenmarkmedia.com.
6. Third-party links
The site links to external websites and services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of those third parties, and a link does not imply endorsement. Which links can earn us a commission is explained in our affiliate disclosure.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at a scale that degrades service for others, or use it in any way that infringes the rights of others.
8. Intellectual property
The Capycation name, design and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Data sourced from third parties remains subject to the licence under which it is published.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content - including decisions made on the basis of indicative prices or travel data that later turned out to differ.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable EU law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The date above shows when this version was last updated.
