February half-term is not one national week — England’s local authorities set their own school dates, and Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland run separate calendars again. When February half-term actually falls in 2027
Three English councils checked directly agree on the same week: Harrow, Sandwell and Wakefield all publish Monday 15 to Friday 19 February 2027. But it is not universal even within England — East Riding of Yorkshire publishes the week before, Monday 8 to Friday 12 February 2027.
Scotland and Wales set entirely separate school calendars, and typically use a shorter mid-term break rather than a full week — Dundee City Council, for one, publishes Friday 12 to Monday 15 February 2027. Northern Ireland differs again and was not checked for this guide.
