Comfortable for walking and ferry rides; popular with international visitors so central districts can still feel busy.
Summer
Hot and busy, with heavy traffic and crowded pedestrian areas; Bosphorus breeze helps, but midday exploring can be tiring.
Autumn
Often a good compromise, with lively streets and more manageable heat; rainier spells can affect Bosphorus views and outdoor plans.
Winter
