Tenerife South Airport (Reina Sofía) lies 20 km from Costa Adeje, with public buses and taxis serving the southwest resort strip including Playa de las Américas and Los Cristianos. Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in the north, are far from this airport and are better reached via Tenerife North Airport.
